THCVS invite you to join us for our September Training, Enterprise and Employment Forum (TEEF). Our September Forum is looking at 'Roots to Employment'. We are inviting providers to come and talk about how their projects are supporting residents move towards employment.

Our September TEEF will be an opportunity for the sector to come together and promote the work taking place to support residents moving towards employment. We will hear from providers supporting residents across a range of projects, and the challenges faced by service users moving towards employment.

Over the autumn, we will be working with Tower Hamlets Council to develop a new voluntary sector strategy, and our September forum is the first opportunity to hear your views as providers of employment support. As the provision of support changes, we want to ensure that the needs of the sector are reflected in the new strategy which supports a vibrant sector.

On the agenda for this meeting:

The range of support provided across the sector around roots to employment and the challenges around this

What issues members currently have as providers and how this will inform the Voluntary Sector Strategy

A discussion about the need for a steering group, who will also act as the support for the forum
