Are you a voluntary or community organisation in Tower Hamlets, who gathers insights from the community? Help co-produce a Quality Assurance Framework for Community Researchers that we hope will strengthen the quality of community research and help influence what gets commissioned in health and social care in Tower Hamlets.

Tower Hamlets Public Health team have been supporting the development of the Community Insights Network on several projects since 2007. Now, they have commissioned THCVS to co-produce with community members, community organisations and health and social care commissioners, a Quality Assurance Framework for Community Researchers to ensure that community led research can be used more effectively.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence this work, which we think is the first of its type in the country, and so we are inviting community or voluntary organisations involved or with an interest in community research to share with each other about what makes good community research,  how you may have delivered it, and what needs to be in place to ensure its quality and better influence on future commissioning in the borough.

If you would like to chat about this event or get some more information, please contact Peter on 020 8980 8427 or email peter.vittles@thcvs.org.uk

This event is aimed at Organisations that deliver or commission community research.

All attendees will also be invited to a final Co-design Workshop on 12th June (see below) to review the findings from the workshops and interviews and help prioritise what should be in the draft Quality Assurance Framework, over a free networking lunch.
