Run by Jacqui Cocker, Development Officer at THCVS.

PQASSO is the leading quality standard developed for the voluntary sector, by the sector. Used systematically, it will help you to run your organisation more effectively and efficiently.

Having a quality mark will make your organisation stand out in the crowd. This course, delivered by THCVS, will support you to understand the standards that are expected as you work towards an accredited quality mark. Funders, statutory organisations, the Charity Commission and other voluntary sector organisations will feel confident that your organisation has structured systems and policies in place to run your organisation effectively. It helps you to plan, budget and allocate resources for making these improvements in a realistic time for your organisation.

This half day workshop will give you an overview of PQASSO looking at the principles and values, and explaining the importance of valuing staff and volunteers.  We will be working from the latest workbook PQASSO edition 4 and we will focus on quality areas managing money, managing resources and assessing outcomes and impact.
